On October 7th, 2017 McCall Ministries will hold the 13th Anual "God in the Hunt Field Day." This event was a success in the previous years with phenomenal feedback from all attending. The day will feature a field day in which area youth and their guardians will join together to participate in events with a hunting theme. Each of the events and shooting stations are designed to reinforce basic Biblical Character Principles as well as to promote Safety in a FUN atmosphere.

Events in this years Field-day will be Skeet Shooting Paintball Wild Game Range Long Bow & Compound Bow Archery Coffee Co 4H BB Gun Shoot Air Evac Helicopter .22 Caliber Station Outdoor Team Building Obstacle Course Wii Hunting Game After Lunch - The Thomas Walden Memorial 15 & Under Raw Egg Shoot Event After Lunch - The Hank Wilcox 16 & Older Raw Egg Shoot Event

Registration will begin promptly at 8:00 a.m. and the Station events start at 9:00 a.m. on October 7th, 2017. NOTE - LET US KNOW IF YOU HAVE A YOUTH THAT DOES NOT HAVE THE MEANS OF PAYING THE REGISTRATION FEE AS NO CHILD WILL BE TURNED AWAY BECAUSE THEY DO NOT HAVE THE $8 REGISTRATION FEE Pre-Registration of your group is encouraged and may be accomplished in one of the following methods:

Website & Mail In: 1- Click on link at bottom of this page and Print out the Waiver (Hold Harmless) Form. 2- Print one Waiver Form for each group size of 25 that you will have. 3- Note: The Waiver Form is a Hold Harmless form that Parents or Legal Guardians of registering youth should have the opportunity to review prior to execution. 4- All Minor Youth in your group - Print each Minor Child's name per line on Left side (on Minor Child line of the form). 5- Have the Parent or Legal Guardian sign the line to the right of the Minor Child's Name (on the Parent or other authorized adult line on the form).. If there are Adults without youth registering that will attend they can sign the Waiver form on this line also). 6- Include a Check in the amount of $8.00 per Youth and per Adult attending the event (one check for all registering would be very helpful in the registration process). 7- Mail the Waiver form with all youth names and parent's / legal guardian's / other adult's signature plus the check to God in the Hunt at the following Address: God In The Hunt C/O Van McCall 477 McCall Road Denton, GA 31532

Onsite At Your Church or Other: 1- Give Bro. Van a call at 912-222-2840 or 912-375-7614 and we will schedule a time to come to you to complete pre- registration of your group. 2- NOTE IT IS IMPORTANT THAT IF THIS METHOD IS CHOSEN THAT YOU EITHER HAVE ALL LEGAL GUARDIANS PRESENT AT THE TIME WE COME TO YOU (FOR EXECUTION OF WAIVER) OR THAT YOU DOWNLOAD THE WAIVER FORM BELOW AND HAVE COMPLETED PER INSTRUCTIONS IN Website & Mail In method above (for those youth or adults that will not be at your site on the date we come to you. 3- In this method also please collect the $8 Pre-Registration fee per attendee and have it available when we come to your site for pre-registration.

The event will be held at the "God In The Hunt" Headquarters, 2 miles west from the Snipesville, GA. Community Center on Hwy. #107 ("Granny Place" lodge house on right in the Pines). there is an Entry Fee of $8 per entry- child and adult (Entry Fee includes the lunch meal).

We would also like to extend an opportunity for sponsors to donate youth gifts for Field-day prizes. We do not award prizes for shooting accuracy but rather think all kids are winners on this day. If any individual or business would be interested in making a monetary gift or other parts of the event, just give us a call @ 912-375-7614 and we will make arrangements to pick up the gift or visit our GoFundMe page.. Again, come and join us on October 7th and bring a Kid. Remember that every time you go into the field to hunt or fish you can find "God In The Hunt."

Field Day History: In 2005 God awakened Evangelist Van McCall from sleep at 4AM with the following thought on his mind - "You Love Ministry; You Love Hunting. Why not put the two together to teach and demonstrate Biblical Character to the next Generation. The rest is history - God in the Hunt began with the first Field Day on September 10th, 2005. The event was held in the Snipesville, GA community at the God in the Hunt Headquarters Farm & Granny Place Cabin. The day was a great success with 150 adults and youth in attendance. "God in the Hunt" is a new outreach ministry of Van McCall and McCall Ministries using hunting as a platform for Christian outreach ministry. Since that first Field Day in 2005 God in the Hunt has ministered to Hundreds of Youth and Adults and have seen over 100 Youth and Adults accept Jesus Christ as savior through this outdoor ministry.

Silent Auction

Make sure to visit our Silent Auction tables at the annual Field Day to place your bids. The funds for this Silent Auction will go to sponsor the yearly God In The Hunt Events. It is the policy of God in the Hunt that no youth have to pay any funds for the activities of the year. The field day is our annual fundraiser. If you have any New Outdoor related items for donation to this silent auction we would appreciate your donation. Would like to have only New items please. Just contact us at the contact information site on this web-site and we will make arrangements to pick up any items you would like to donate.
